Ouray Colorado, known as "The Switzerland of America" is nestled in the valley between some of the most beautiful mountains you'll see anywhere.

A natural hot springs swimming pool is one of the main attractions in town but while you are there you'll want to visit some other places as well.

The photo on the left was taken in Box Canyon located south of Ouray on Highway 550. This unique site offers a stunning view of a river falling into a slot canyon carved by the river itself. If you are in the quaint Swiss like community of Ouray you'll want to visit Box Canyon.

Another picturesque sight in town is a beautiful falls on the northeast side of town called Cascade Falls.

Ouray Colorado is a southwestern town strewn with jeep rental places to allow the visitor to explore the beautiful and rugged mountian roads that will take you back to the days when mining was replete with activity.

Highway 550, "The Million Dollar Highway," as it is known, runs between Ouray and Silverton Colorado. This highway will take you passed the beautiful Red Mountain that can be seen while traveling this stretch of road.
