Mt Evans Colorado boasts the highest paved road in the world. You can drive your car to the top of Mt Evans and hike just a feet hundred feet to the highest point of Mt Evans. In the spring you will have the treat of seeing many wild mountain goats and sometimes wild mountain sheep feeding near the observatory at the top. Your best time to go is early in the morning. The day we went we got up at 3:30 in the morning so we could be at the top of the mountain by sunrise. It was an extra-ordinary day. Here are some of my shots from that morning in June, 2006.
